The Old Adobe School was started by John Larson on Hwy 12 in 1980 in an historic adobe building.. They had to move due to seismic requirements and moved into Burlingame Hall in February 1989, then moved into the buildings where they are now. Jo Anne Conner and Linda States greeted the children shortly after their arrival and gave the 15 children cookies and cake and took them on a tour of the Sanctuary.
