Ways to Connect

A church community is a special gathering of people from diverse backgrounds.

Music is an important part of Sunday worship and many members sing in the choir with accompaniment from piano, organ and special appearances by saxophone, flute and guitar.

Committees are the driving force of the church and a large proportion of members and friends are a part of these important teams. Our Women’s Fellowship team runs the successful long-running West Spain Thrift Shop on campus, creating community for regular shoppers and funding local charities. Our Men’s Group is a supportive group, serving the church.

There are a variety of fellowship groups such as monthly potlucks or dining out gatherings (Circles of 8 and High-Nooners), quarterly game nights, and annual church camp. San Francisco LGBT Pride parade marchers (Church Ladies and Gents for Gay Rights) and our LGBT group demonstrate our open and affirming status in action.

Church activities and our minister’s message are collected in our monthly newsletter, The Grapevine.
