The Blessing Path: The Call of Aging
November 16 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
$20 – $50
You are invited to a soul-nourishing day experiencing The Blessing Path. Becoming someone who claims this path is a transforming way of living and aging. Through poetry, journaling, music, guided meditation, sacred sharing and more, we will explore what it means to bless and will practice it in our lives and each other. We will contemplate the life-giving opportunity of claiming the vocation of Blesser, especially in our later years.
As we age, many of our roles fall away and often with them, a sense of identity and purpose. “Who am I now?” is a question that elders frequently ask. A life-giving answer can be “I’m a Blesser.” Becoming a Blesser calls us to mindfulness, an open heart and intention. Our lens on life switches from doing to being. Being a Blesser means lending strength, courage and wisdom to another in a way that leads to their wholeness. Taking on the identity of Blesser can bring us into relationship with the world in a refreshing, profound way. Please register by November 13th online or by calling the Journey Center (707) 578-2121.
