Music – Choir and Handbells

The church choir sings three Sundays a month from September into June. Our repertoire ranges from traditional hymns to Gospel to classics to Taize to pieces from a variety of cultures around the world. We also guide the congregation in learning and singing new hymns.

The choir is open to singers at all levels of talent and experience. There are no auditions, and people can join (or give it a try) at any time of year. During the choir season, we rehearse every Wednesday at 7 p.m. for 90 minutes and most Sundays at 9 a.m. for 30 minutes in the sanctuary.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell choir brings the enchanting sound of bells to our worship services. Our ringers range from brand-new to experienced veterans of the craft. We rehearse on Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. We rehearse and perform in 3-4 week sessions, enabling ringers to participate as their personal schedule allows. New ringers are always welcome. Just contact the director, Susan Kelchner, or speak to one of the ringers.
