The Social Action Ministry expresses its Christian concerns for the community and the world. Our primary focus is on immigration, housing, and education. We accomplish this through signing petitions, calling our representatives and joining in marches for social justice.
We offer physical and financial support to the following organizations:
- Sonoma Overnight Shelter
- North Bay Organizing Project
- El Verano School
We also promote the following United Church of Christ Special Mission Offerings:
- One Great Hour of Sharing
- Neighbors in Need
- Christmas Fund
- Strengthen the Church
